Pesticides constitute a vast group of biologically active chemical substances used in plant protection products. This group includes various types of pesticides, such as zoocides used to combat animal pests, herbicides for weed control, bacteriocides to combat bacteria, and fungicides to eliminate microscopic fungi.

As industrial and technological progress advances, the global use of pesticides in agriculture is increasing. GBA POLSKA offers research on residues of plant protection products (pesticides) in food and agricultural products. These studies are carried out using the most advanced technologies and research methods, such as liquid and gas chromatography coupled with tandem mass spectrometry (LC/MS/MS and GC/MS/MS). This enables precise determination of residues at very low detection levels. Our analyses cover over 700 compounds and are conducted in accordance with the PN-EN 15662:2018-06 standard.
