Clean air in hospital rooms (e.g. operating theatres, endoscopy theatres or sterilisation rooms) is one of the elements of health safety for the patient staying in such units. In order to effectively reduce the risk of infection, the air in hospital rooms (especially operating theatres) should have up to several hundred times lower concentrations of microbiological contaminants than outdoor air or air in living rooms.<\/p>\n

Air quality tests are performed in accordance with the “Guidelines for the Design, Execution, Acceptance and Operation of Ventilation and Air-Conditioning Systems for Entities Performing Medical Activities<\/strong>” recommended by the Ministry of Health.<\/p>\n
