    The Dermatologically Tested seal is a confirmation of the safety of the tested product for the skin. It is awarded on the basis of the results of dermatologically-controlled patch tests performed on volunteers with normal or sensitive skin, using an open, closed or semi-open test, depending on the type of product tested. Dermatological tests (patch tests) are performed on the target final cosmetic formulation and are designed to detect contact allergies caused by cosmetics. In order to obtain a mark, tests are performed on at least 20 people and the result is the absence of observed irritation and allergic reactions.<\/p>\n

    The Works for Skin seal is proof of the efficacy of a tested cosmetic product on the skin. In order to obtain the label, various instrumental tests (measurement of physiological skin parameters, e.g. hydration, elasticity, smoothness, etc.) and use tests are carried out. Depending on the product and its claim, the tests are carried out under dermatological control and under the supervision of other specialists such as a paediatrician, ophthalmologist, gynaecologist, dentist, trichologist, cosmetologist, etc. on appropriately selected groups of volunteers in terms of their size, age, gender, skin type, etc.<\/p>\n

        The Premium Quality (SPF) seal is a proof of the highest quality of a cosmetic product with sun protection. It is issued based on the result obtained from clinical tests on a group of at least 10 people who did not experience adverse skin reactions in contact with the tested product and ultraviolet radiation. The seal can be used for products with an SPF value of 6 and higher. Before tests determining the level of protection, it is necessary to perform microbiological purity tests and dermatological tests, and after obtaining a positive SPF test result, additionally perform a test confirming protection against UVA radiation.<\/p>\n

        The Tested with GCP seal confirms the highest standards of product safety, quality and effectiveness, and all tests performed with the participation of volunteers are conducted in the spirit of Good Clinical Practice.
